Meetings

To the left you should find the Meeting Menu.  Walking you through finding, updating/adding or maintaining meeting information.

Meetings are the very heart of our program to assist the codependent that still suffers.  It is important to keep this information up to date!  However, this task falls upon the meeting contacts, not the CoDA Fellowship Worker (FW).  The FW does input the data she receives from the contacts as soon as she can.  The database is live.  So as soon as she enters the data, it is available for the fellowship to search.  Please keep your meeting's data up to date so that a newcomer doesn't arrive at your meeting only to find that it is not meeting that day.

The meeting search, update and add meeting screens can  be a little intimidating.  Don't be afraid to read the meeting tips and the meeting instructions if it is the first time that you have used these forms.  They provide useful information.  As a matter of fact, all of these screens are in one page.  They are separated by tabs.  When you go to "find a meeting" or "Update/add a meeting" you will see a bar on the screen similar to the below:

Each tab allows:

U.S. Meetings:  Search the US database by State or City.  You can also search by a distance from your zip code to allow you to find the closest meeting, which may be in another State if you live close to a border.

World Meetings:  Search for Meetings outside the US by Country.  Some Countries have their own website with meeting lists.  These are available by clicking on the Countries name.

Online/Phone Meetings:  Search for Meetings online/phone (alternative format).  Since these have no geographical boundaries, they are in their own list.

Update Meeting:  Type in your meeting number and begin to change your data. {Please leave this to the two meeting contacts!}  Some areas allow the area meeting coordinators to update the data.

New Meeting Form:  Begin typing in your information on your new meeting.  Please include two contacts, even if you do not make this information public, CoDA needs to contact the meeting contacts from time to time for important news, events and to obtain updates.
